Halloween may have just passed, but we can still continue the spooky season with an episode about the Lord of Vampires himself – Count Dracula! Kurtis and Josh talk about the end of a long Tomb of Dracula story in which Doctor Sun reveals his master plan and comes face-to-face with Dracula, Blade and all of the Vampire Hunters! Plus, we meet a few new characters that Josh is less than impressed with. And then to top it all of, they talk about a monumental crossover between Dracula and Doctor Strange!
Issues discussed: Tomb of Dracula #36-43, Doctor Strange #14
This episode contains one clip from an interview with Steve Englehart.

The timing of ToD # 37 has always been interesting to me. It went on sale in July 1975, which means it must have been written in the May or earlier of that year. It features an interview with a vampire, only eight months after Anne Rice had sold her Interview with the Vampire book to Knopf. I wonder if Wolfman had any insider information that inspired him?
The character of publisher Mr Greadely seems to me to be based on DC editor Mort Weisinger, not a very nice guy to work for, by all accounts.
The cover of #40 is definitely Colan, but it’s inked by Frank Giacoia.
