2019 is the 25th anniversary of Generation X (aka my favourite comic). I’m not sure that Marvel will be doing anything in particular to celebrate, so I’m taking it upon myself to bring you The Oral History of Generation X! I’ve been collecting interviews over the past couple of years with writers, artists and other people who have worked on the book over the years, and will be releasing them on the 25th of each month (because it’s the 25th anniversary, see?) or late on the 24h of you are in one of the last time zones.
The first interview is with co-creator Scott Lobdell. We talk about the origin of the series, Age of Apocalypse, killing Blink, and a whole variety of other stuff. WARNING: This interview gets a bit more into the obscure than my typical interview and if you’ve never read the book you might be scratching your head at my questions. These are questions that have been on my mind for the past 25 years. I hope you will still enjoy it!
